Parenting isn’t easy. Power struggles, big feelings, and endless “what do I do now?” moments can leave even the most patient parent feeling overwhelmed. My role is to help you decode what’s really going on with your child, bring calm to the chaos, and give you tools that actually work.
Before founding The Parent Teacher, I spent over 13 years as an early childhood educator in Washington, DC, teaching preschool through third grade. With a Master’s in Elementary Education and certification as a Positive Discipline Parent Educator, I combine deep knowledge of child development with practical, real-world strategies that fit your family.
What I learned in the classroom—and in close partnership with families—is this: every child’s behavior tells a story. When parents can understand that story, they unlock their child’s potential.

Today, my coaching is grounded in two core beliefs:

-
Every child’s behavior tells a story. Decoding it unlocks their potential.
-
Connection and boundaries are essential. They lay the foundation for raising emotionally resilient children.

Working together, I’ll help you:

-
Build routines that bring structure without rigidity
-
Respond to misbehavior with clarity instead of reactivity
-
Create emotionally safe, connected family dynamics where kids (and parents) feel secure

Whether I’m coaching parents or consulting with educators, my approach is always collaborative—you know your child best, and I’m here to equip you with tools, insights, and confidence.
