what is parent coaching?

At its core, parent coaching is a partnership designed to help families navigate challenges and create a home environment where children and parents thrive. Coaching provides both practical tools and a supportive space to reflect, problem-solve, and grow together.

Coaching with me:

For me, coaching means partnering with parents, caregivers, and educators to make meaningful, lasting changes in family life. We’ll start by clarifying what’s working, what feels challenging, and what you’d like to see shift. From there, we’ll create realistic strategies tailored to your child and your family’s unique needs.

Our sessions typically happen every 2–3 weeks, giving you time to practice new approaches while having consistent support along the way. Between sessions, I’ll help you stay focused and supported, so changes don’t just “stick” for a week, but grow into lasting family rhythms.

How I can help:

Every family is unique, with their own goals and starting points. Some common themes we might work on together include:

  • Navigating tantrums, defiance, sibling conflict, or bedtime struggles

  • Helping children manage big feelings, anxiety, or social challenges

  • Building daily routines that reduce stress and foster independence

  • Strengthening parent–child communication and connection

  • Supporting children’s growth in independence, confidence, and responsibility

  • Creating calmer mornings, smoother evenings, or more balanced family rhythms

  • Partnering with educators and caregivers to improve classroom or school dynamics

next steps:

To see if we’re a good fit, I offer a free 30-minute virtual or phone conversation. During this time, we get to know each other, explore where your family is now, where you’d like to be, and how our work together could help you get there.
